INTRODUCING MRS. LINDSEY MARTIN BOHR

OWNER/DIRECTOR

Lindsey Martin has been dancing for 20 years. She began dancing when she was 3 years old. She competed

regionally and nationally from ages 7 to 18 winning numerous titles, such as “Dancer of the Year,” “Dance

Down Winner,” and “Top Senior Soloists.” She has also won several judges choice awards for “Best

Choreography.” She has also dance on two cruise ships for Royal Carribean. Lindsey was a professional dancer living in Los

Angeles, California for three years. She has worked with numerous artist including Prince, Mariah Carey,
Haddaway, Colby

O’Donnis, Eminem, Ying Yang Twins, Kelly Shepard, Bob Saget, Jamie Kennedy and various up and coming artists.  She

also starred in MTV’s “Making the Video”, ABC’s hit show “Hit me baby one more time”, and CBS’s “Tyra Banks Show.” You

can also see her in Dance Spirit Magazine with Wade Robson modeling his new line of shoes. She has also stared in

commercials for K-Swiss shoe line. While in California, Lindsey worked directly for
choreographers such as
 

Shane Sparks, Wade Robson, and Brian Freedman. Lindsey has been instructing dance for 7 years in

Washington and California along with convention classes for Hollywood Vibe Dance Competition. Lindsey

has settled in the Wenatchee Valley to
share her passion and love for the art of dance.

 

 

 

INTRODUCING MRS. JENNIFER LENHARD-ROWE

Jennifer is a graduate of Wenatchee High School (2001) born and raised in the Wenatchee Valley. She and her husband,

Steven, have 3 children and enjoy an active lifestyle. Jennifer’s experience with dance began at the age of 4. Combining her

motivation with the discipline demanded by her instructors greatly improved her self-assurance. Ambition provided her the


means to excel in ballet and modern ballet. She has trained at several studios included Joan Shelton Mason’s Ballet Theatre


Northwest in Wenatchee, WA (1986-2002), Whitman College’s Summer Dance Lab in Walla Walla, WA (1993,1994, 1998),

and the American Ballet Theater’s Summer Intensive in Austin, TX (2001). Jennifer has also enjoyed studying with fine

artists such as Charles Bennett, Soili Arvola, Leo Ahonen, Barbara Reminton, Noel Mason, Paul Sanasarto, John Passafume,

George De La Penia, and Lisa Moon. Ballets Jennifer has performed in and variations performed from are Nutcracker, Snow

White, River Scenes, The Wizard of OZ, Alice in Wonderland, Beatrix Potter, Peter Pan, Coppelia, Sleeping Beauty

(variations), Les Patineurs, Grand Pas de Quarte, Don Quixote (variations), Les Sylphides and Swan Lake (variations).

Jennifer has also taught ballet for a couple years to children of all ages. We are pleased here at Dance Creations to have

Mrs. Jennifer Lenhard Rowe a part of our teaching staff.
  

 

 

 

 

 

 


  INTRODUCING MRS. LINDA STAHLER

Linda Stahler is a Radiology Technologist and a single mother of two lovely young ladies. She has a passion for dance and has been dancing since a young age. For over 10 years Linda has been dancing under the direction of Debra Johanson; owner of Magic City Costumes and director of the Sabah Tribe. Linda then became a member of Sabah Ensemble performing troupe and has been performing with the Sabah Tribe for 7 years. In 2006 Linda became a certified instructor, and has taught at Academy of Dance and Performing Arts and at Body Rhythm Yoga.  She enjoyed performing at local farmers markets throughout the Northwest. Also Linda has performed at events such as Waterville Days and Wenatchee’s Wings and Wheels. At the annual local hafla, supported by the Sabah Ensemble, Linda performed many solos. Linda has enriched her love of belly dance by being involved in belly dancing events including the Celebration of Colors at the Bing Crosby Theater.
 

 

 

 

 

 STYLES

BALLET–THE MOTHER OF DANCE WHICH DEVELOPS GOOD BODY STRUCTURE AND TONE, BODY PLACEMENT AND TECHNIQUE, STRENGTH AND FLEXIBILITY, AND IS IMPORTANT FOR THE WELL ROUNDED DANCERS.

JAZZ– THE FREE STYLE OF DANCE, INVOLVING STRETHC, ISOLATIONS, AND COMBINATIONS, INFLUENCE BY THE SOCIAL CONTEMPORARY DANCES AND MUSIC OF BOTH TODAY AND YESTERDAY. 

LYRICAL- THE FUSION OF THE BALLET AND JAZZ DANCE STYLES, LYRICAL DANCE AIMS TO INTERPRET THE ACCOMPANYING MUSIC IN AN EMOTIONALLY EXPRESSIVE WAY.

TAP– AN AUDIBLE FORM OF DANCE THAT DEVELOPS A STRONG SENSE OF RHYTHM AND COORDINATION.

MODERN/CONTEMPORARY- A STYLE OF THEATRICAL DANCE THE REJECTS THE LIMITATIONS OF CLASSICAL BALLET AND FAVORS MOVEMENT DERIVING FROM THE EXPRESSION OF INNER FEELING.

HIP-HOP– A HIGH ENERGY CLASS THAT USES THE LATEST SOUNDS IN MUSIC TOGETHER WITH MOVEMENTS INFLUENCE BY SOME OF TODAY'S TOP CHOREOGRAPHERS. hIP hOP ENCOMPASSES MOVEMENT THAT HAS ELEMENTS OF POPPIN, LOCKING, AND BREAKING AS WELL AS FREESTYLE MOVEMENTS TO GIVE STUDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP THEIR OWN SENSE OF STYLE. HIP HOP IS URBAN, DIVERSE AND FOREVER CHANGING. 

TOTS COMBO– AGES 3-6. A CREATIVE MOVEMENT COURSE FOR TOTS, BASED ON THE RUDIMENTS OF DANCE, BASIC BALLET, INTRODUCTION TO JAZZ, AND DEVELOPMENT OF GOOD RHYTHM THROUGH TAP. 

ADRENALINE HIP HOP— AGES 13 AND UP. AN AEROBIC WORK OUT USING THE FUNDAMENTALS AND COMBINATIONS OF HIP HOP DANCE. THIS CLASS IS BASED ON HAVING FUN AND GETTING A GREAT WORKOUT. 

  BELLY DANCING-BELLY DANCING IS A WESTERN NAME COINED FOR A STYLE OF FEMALE DANCE DEVELOPED IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND OTHER ARABIC-INFLUENCED AREAS IN WHICH THEDANCER MAKES SENSUOUS MOVEMENTS OF THE HIPS AND ABDOMEN.
